Excitement as Nigerians Spend Independence Day, Id el Maulud at Park Vega Waterpark

All roads led to the largest waterpark in West Africa, as Nigerians thronged to Park Vega Waterpark in Agbor, Delta State with friends and family to experience fun and bonding on Independence Day and Id el Maulud.

The guests came in droves as early as some minutes before 10 am the official time the park opens and waited patiently until the turnstiles were electronically activated to admit guests inside. It was obvious the families had been planning for the experience as the excitement was written all over their faces.

 It was like a division of labour as the children ran to the Aquatower, Splash pad, while the adults who have more attractions could be seen at the Wave pool, bars, slides, pools and restaurants.

Adaobi Iloakesia, one of the guests who came with friends said “I had an awesome experience, I had so much fun. I hope you guys maintain your facilities. good job. My friends and I have been talking about Park Vega for a week now and I am so glad we came together because it's breathtaking.”

Another guest, who simply identified himself as Felix O.N, said “My family had an excellent experience here and we fell in love with all the attractions. It was fun, attractive and user-friendly.’

The park is designed to enable anyone to experience fun without knowing how to swim because the pools are not deep while the children’s favourite, the Aquatower, is fitted with anti-slippery technology that prevents children from slipping.

Osonwa lynduia, who was coming to the park for the first time said “It is spectacular. I didn't want to leave.  I would visit again and again. My friends that I came with feel the same way and we love everything, especially the Blackhole. Our memories and experience here will be repeated. This place is not what you experience once there will be a part two, three and others.” He said.
