Funseekers Experiencing Double Joy at Park Vega Waterpark during Independence Day, Id el Maulud Holdays

Independence day holiday celebration at park vega waterpark

All roads still lead to the largest waterpark in West Africa, as Nigerians continue the rush to Park Vega Waterpark, the largest waterpark in West Africa.

Located in Agbor, Delta State, funseekers with friends and family made their way to the top fun location in Delta State and Nigeria to experience excitement and bonding as the country celebrates Independence Day on Sunday, and still relishing the Id el Maulud euphoria.

The guests came in droves as early as some minutes before 10 am the official time the park opens and waited eagerly until exactly 10 am when the turnstiles were electronically activated to admit guests inside.

It was obvious the families had been planning for the experience as the excitement was written all over their faces.

It was like a division of labour as the children ran to the Aquatower, Splash pad, while the adults could be seen at the Wave pool, relax pool with a bar, slides, attraction pools and restaurants.

Tajudeen, a devout Muslim and a regular guest at the park came with friends said he is having the time of his life at the park.

"I am glad you guys have not dropped the ball on quality since you started operating the park. My friends and I have been talking about Park Vega for a week now and I am so glad we came together because it's breathtaking, getaway location from stress and work.”

The park is ergonomically designed to enable anyone to experience fun even if they don't know how to swim because the pools are not deep while the children’s favourites, the Aquatower, is fitted with anti-slippery technology that prevents children from slipping.

You could notice the difference between a regular guest and a first timer as regular guests almost on reflex run down to their favourite attraction while the first timers take a little longer to decipher if they are not in Alice's Wonderland.

The park still opens from 10 am to 6 pm on Monday, public holiday, to celebrate the country's independence.
